Frédéric Bousquet (born 1974) is considered to be one of the most respected avant-gardist french musicians of his generation. A composer and musician with an international reputation, mixed music pionneer, he dedicates himself essentially to the contemporary musical creation. As eminent player of euphones - Titanium Euphone and crystal Baschet -, and specialist of the sound sculptures Lasry-Baschet, he is invited all over the world: in Europe, in Asia, in the Middle East, in the United States, in South America. His musical play is characterized by an exceptional Touch, a classic and contemporary musical culture, in link to the new technologies and opened to all oriental and occidental musical styles.
Frédéric Bousquet's musical works, in link in his contribution to the design of contemporary musical instrumental, to the musical pedagogies and the musicological research, are the object of conferences and Master's degrees-classes. He is called as tuteller and to contribute to numerous programs of education in France and abroad within institutions of higher education such the Ecole polytechnique of Paris, engineers' graduate school of Le Mans, graduate school of Architecture of Lyon, University of Maine, Paris 8 university, Aristote Thessalonique university, Stanford University, IRCAM.
He is installed on the Causse Méjean, National Park of the Cévennes, classified in the World heritage UNESCO.
